Gossen Lunasix

Ok here is a photo of the board of the Gossen Lunasix 3. Upper right is a yellow/greenish and a red thread for the battery compartiment. My question is which thread connects to the + and which one does connect the - side of the batteries?

Although one might think red is for the +, looking at the scale at the bottom of the meter for the batteries, it is not clear for me whether red is in this case really connects to the + side of the batteries.
