It has only taken me five months since getting the scanner to actually go beyond the basic auto everything mode :bang: , but today I did it and got the results I wanted, and in a file size suitable for posting here

Hi, Ted. I have an Epson 3490, and by going into professional mode, and selecting 24 bit colour and 25% sizing it worked in that files were now of a workable size to post and also true to the warm tone of the print.

Not tried that yet. Still enthralled with my darkroom after all this time.... The wonder of it has never ceased to captivate and amaze me ! :angel:
