I got my Coolscan V ED this Friday and have been trying it out on various different negatives. Then I stumbled on this picture I took while riding the tram with my Oly Trip 35.
In Sweden it's a custom to get as drunk as possible without dying on graduation day, while wearing silly hats, just like the fellas in the picture. The picture is taken ~17:00 in the day, and as you can see, the alcohol is already starting to show on them
What I was thinking when I took the picture was that these fellas are now officially unemployed, they just went from being students to being unemployed during the worst recession in modern times. Youth unemployment has NEVER been this high in history.
Their expressions are probably because of the alcohol, but I like to think of it in this other way - now their easy days are over and they finally realized that they have to get out there and work hard to "survive" (social security is still top notch in Sweden, so they won't starve).
On a side note: scanning with the Coolscan is hell. ALL dust, scratches and buildup from the developer shows now!
