I'm not sure if this is the right forum. I'm looking for a recommendation on an online printer of high quality greeting cards for my images. Ideally, this would be an online service where I can upload my digital image to them for printing onto commercial quality card stock.

I tried the local drugstore, but the paper quality was horrible. They use cheap, thin, photographic paper. I want a printer to use high quality paper, like the kind that one would find at a greeting card shop.

I am hoping that someone out there has done this before, and can recommend a place from personal experience.

Thanks,

Warren

Depending on quantity, Moo.com (top-notch, but a bit expensive) or PSPrint.com (the minimum order size is 50 cards). PSPrint is local (they are in Oakland near Emeryville) and you can pick up there to avoid shipping charges.

Avoid Vistaprint, their quality is quite poor and they stick their logo on the printed product even when you are paying.

Thanks for the references! I'll check them out. :)

Two other local options: 4by6.com (their satin finish is superlative, but even more expensive than Moo) and ClubCardPrinting.com (their printers use stochastic dithering for better photo quality).

One thing I forgot to mention about Moo - the per-card pricing is high, but you can have a different photo on each card, something no other volume printer will offer.
