Old Guy with a Corgi
Just something for those that have an elusive light leak.
My Son gave me his old, leaky GSN, which is in excellent condition otherwise. I got a seal kit from Micro-Tools.com and replaced all the seals. I was still getting a little fogging, but only occasionally.
Looking at the camera the other day, I held it against a desk lamp in a darkend room, and could see a little light coming through at the back hinge. I had put seal material here, but apparently had not quit covered that little crack. Fixed that and all's well.
If I took several shots in a row, only the last one would be fogged - I guess it took a while because the crack was so small.
