Hi guys
My GTN has just arrived but i have problems the lever cocks and the shutter fires but i cant see the blades move does it need a battery before the blades will open or do you think the blades may be stuck. Also the viewfinder is hazey could this be cleaned and could i attempt this myself.I also have an old canonnet that has a hazey viewfinder so does this just happen with age and what causes it.I will be most gratefull for any input.
Regards Ian

Without a battery, your GTN is firing the shutter at the default 1/500s. Try using a 4LR44-type 6v with spring to see if the electronic shutter control works.

iandg,
I'll pay shipping just to take it off your hands. Hate to see a man suffer.
On a serious note I think anirebax may have the right idea.
