Noticed that this will be-is-my 500th post on RFF.
As you can see, it has taken me almost 10 years to get there.

I have enjoyed the journey very much indeed.
Thanks to the Head Bartender for hosting what I consider the best photography site on the net.
And thanks to all of you who contribute the posts that make it so.

Oh well, my case is a little different from yours. I have more than 500 posts here.
No matter how active in posting at RFF, I believe that all activities are contributing to the success of this website.
 
Hmm I also am a reader, have realized there is so much to be learned. Thanks to raid and a lot of other posters am having a great time with Olympus 4/3 and LTM, F, and more mounts with it.
At present am struggling to learn IR photography, had also wanted to try it finally had a Nikon 1 J2 converted. It is much harder using photoshop to get what am looking for. reading needed.

I don't post much myself but do check in everyday and am grateful for the community.
 
My relationship with RFF has outlasted both of my marriages .. that says something! :p
 
I'm a reader too. This is definitely my favorite forum to read; so much knowledge among the community. I usually don't have much to say in a lot of cases so I keep quiet, but I'll post whenever I have something I feel is worthwhile saying.
 
I am not sure how one finds out the number of posts made. Can someone enlighten?

I'm more of a reader myself, but be careful and don't us the phrase above to anyone on this forum. I was joking one time about someone's post numbers and got banned. The moderators here are touchy on the subject.

I've been reading and lurking since 2008 or 2009, but only started posting about five or six years ago, and I've only made about 1100 posts so far. This forum is a goldmine of information and a real gathering of likeminded people, and I'm glad to have found it.
 
Me too I’m afraid, but I do avidly read new posts every day over my morning coffee*.

*It’s so much more pleasurable than reading the news which just depresses me
