I know exactly wher the house is. I drive by there frequently. I'm going to do my best to get down there.
There never seems to be any middle ground with these kind of sales. They either give it away or think it's worth a fortune because it's old. Usually it out of sight because it an antique. I have however scored big. I picked up a super nice M2 with 9 lenses, two visoflexes, bellows, table top leica tripod and two heads, focusing mounts, ton of adapters and a like new IIIG with a like new 50 collapsible summicron. In the package was a coated Zeiss 50 Sonnar but was scratched badly, 50 2.8 Elmar, 90 elmarit, 35 v1 summicron mint, 135 Elmar and several other premium Leica lenses. Total price $1500. There was also available model III that was totally trashed for $500. I passed on that one.
Ive lucked into several deals like that. You just have to know the value and not pay more than it's worth.

I went to the sale today but the camera sold first thing yesterday. The fellow working there said it went for $300.
