...as it is today.
I picked up the Canon 135 from the post office today. Unpacked the box, took out the leather case, slipped out the lens, and it still felt like something was in there. I snooped around and sure enough I figured there was something in the top of the case. I snapped it open, fingers crossed that it was a hood, but it was a finder for the lens. I don't think the seller ever knew it was in there. It wasn't mentioned in the sale, and not pictured. So, when Joe's 135 finder gets here, I have two. That was a real surprise Joe. Do you need a finder for your 135 again?
Here is another shot.

Little-known fact - the 'cap' of the leather rangefinder lens holders for Canon (and perhaps others as well) 85 and 135 lenses contained the finder. It's kind of hidden - a secret compartment, if you will. That's how I got my extra 135 finder as well. Good on ya!

PS - By the way, a very happy looking family indeed!

You left out one family member: the coffee!
That is why I didn't post the shot in that thread Kris. I didn't feel it would be right to fake it with an empty cup either. I do have to get something new with coffee though, you are right.
Note too, the 135/3.5 focuses nice with the R3a

You never know what you'll find in a case. Got my Ansco Speedex Special R and looked in the top of the case and saw a pull tab. Pulled the tab and found 3 little recessed circles with a yellow, yellow-green and a red Series V filters. Now I need the 30mm slip on Series V holder that fits the camera.

:bang: :bang:
oh man, ralph!
i would send it back and we could call off the trade if you like but then you'd be stuck with 2 books instead of 2 finders.
i'm open to suggestions cause i'd hate to see you get stuck and just cause i'm that kinda guy...
btw, your family looks great!
i'll have to start thinking about a new family portrait when the 35/2.8 shows up.

So Ralph, which lenses have you got there? Canon 135mm f?, and ...?
I'm just joking Joe. I'm thinking stereo finder for my 135.
OK, let's see Frank,
Left to Right if I am remembering correctly;
40/2 CLE Rokkor
21/4 CV Color Skopar
35/2 Summicron mounted on the R2
50/2 Summicron mounted on the R3a
75/2.5 CV Color Heliar hidden behind...
135/3.5 Canon
