Yes, and it is wonderfully convenient that Canada T-day coincides with USA Columbus Day holiday. It allow us "down" here to have time to visit good friends "up" there.

Happy Thanksgiving...The day when U.S. citizens celebrate the accepted fact that the early colony would have been wiped out by starvation had the native population not fed them by glutting on roast turkey, even though the almost-eliminated population most likely had fish. And I suppose we also celebrate the true fact that we then proceeded to almost totally destroy those who helped us in one of the worst cases of long term genocide the world has ever seen, but nobody ever mentions that, except for a few of the remaining Indians. History is written by those who killed rather than were killed.
