Well-known
The fleet has grown to three Bessa Rs as an experiment in Never Changing Lenses (21/35/90, all CV). So you know what is coming...they don't all fit very well in my canvas Leitz classic bag (pictured in another thread here).
Well, maybe they'd fit if I wrapped one in a towel, like Tom A has written about. Not sure I'm ready for that approach, but I'll give it a try. The price certainly is right.
Meanwhile, I've been reading up on fishing bags in the Brady/Billingham mold, with an eye to something relatively long, almost a messenger bag. Something that three bodies with lenses can stand up in, rewind crank down and advance lever up. I ran into this interesting Hardy bag from the UK:
Photo is from this Japanese language website. English description is here.
The bag is approx 17" x 11" x 4.5", which is in the ballpark of what I'm looking for. The Leitz classic bag is about 14" x 10".
Anyone have experience with the Hardy Compact bag, or any Hardy bags?
