Has RFF been 'hacked' .. just wondering

Hello RFF'ers a lot of notes on RFF recently regarding

1. speed of page load up,
2. gallery migrations to people who don't have galleries etc.

It might be helpful if any members who have had problems could note the nature of their specific problems in this thread. Then details and information can be checked by the webmaster to help get our group 'back on track'.

The speed of accessing various forums has certainly slowed the past several days.

All the other sites I normall check seem to be running at normal speed. This on has been getting slower every day--both on my home 256 DSL and the 1 gig at work (both machines have a gig of memory, too. Now it's to the point where it sometimes takes literally minutes for a thread to load. Something ain't right.

It's 12.40 am. RFF is loading like it always has. Go figure. I know I didn't imagine it though because there is also a thread regarding the slowness of loading started by FrankS.

hope that it was just a tech issue not a hacking issue. However there are still issues on other threads regarding galleries being allocated to people who don't have any photos uploaded to RFF.

Perhaps these are two different separate issues.

on the issue of being hacked , I noticed two threads this am. Both non RFF type posts about credit and free computers attributed to Jaapv however there is a sig that is different and only one post.

on the issue of being hacked , I noticed two threads this am. Both non RFF type posts about credit and free computers attributed to jaapv however there is a sig (jegus) that is different and only one post. This post doesn't appear to be in keeping with the profile for jaapv.
