Sorry if this is the wrong forum...

I have option to purchase a Hasselblad 100mm 3.5, good visible condition, but I have no way to test the mechanical workings. This would be a resale item only.

Anyone offer a ballpark estimate of worth? I know, not much to go on.

Thanks,

John

It's easy to test Hasselblad lenses without a camera:

Make sure the lens in cocked - turn the screw slot in the direction of the arrow until it stops.
The lens is now cocked and the shutter blades retracted.

To fire the lens - poke the slightly off center rod next to the screw.

Stellar lens as pointed out. I use mine on a 500CM a lot and superb detail. Vickko's costing seem right - I paid $600 for mine 12 months back.
