Seconded. As for Christmas... Well, many years ago I received a Christmas card that said, "Happy Birthday Mithras, Jesus, or Any Other Deity Having a Birthday on or near the Winter Solstice."

We celebrated Sol Invictus (the Unconquered Sun) on Sunday. Because we are pagans? No. Just because it's as good a midwinter festival as any (the day after the shortest day) and historically more accurate than Christmas. After all, He was probably born around 3 BC, never mind the month or day, though to quote Cecil Adams, "Hey, this was no ordinary dude". It's what the New Year brings that matters.

So again: health, happiness and prosperity to all.
