Heads Up: Bronica RF645 100mm Lens

Wow, I appreciate that kind of appreciation! Mine was $489 new minus the $50 rebate. Now I'm looking for a 135mm for the second body...

A couple of weeks ago I did put my Rf 645 for sale over here (got a bit flamed because it was my first post...). I did say it was sold, but last minute things..it´s not. Not only did I not sell it ( which i dont regret a bit) but I just purchased a new 100 lense (it took me months to find it!!) for 500 €. I look forward to the arrival of this little toy, and plan to post some samples scanned with my also new Epson 4990...

Ah, life is good :)

All the best, Erik.

Congratulations, Erik, on your fortunately failed sale! :) That new 100mm lens is a further committment to the system that I hope you'll enjoy even more.

Here's a 100mm shot..

thanks for the link

been looking for this lens. . . now i just have to figure which organ to sell . . . .

I wonder if they'll buy pinky toes?

I paid a tiny bit less for mine when I got it new, and then there was a $50 rebate off that. I just went to Tamron's website to see the status of the rebates, which have followed one another seamlessly for a couple years at least. But the latest one appears to have expired Dec 31. Might be worth a call though to see if they will still honor it on a new-from-dealer purchase. See http://www.tamron.com/bronica/rebates.asp

Here's a couple more 100mm RF645 shots to feed the GAS flames! :D

Good grief! One week after I spend $500 on another 50mm I don't need, this comes up. That'll teach me.

Kenmar Camera's 100mm has been sold. Not to me, sadly. I wrote them an email, and someone wrote back something to the effect of "sorry, the 100mm has been sold, but how about a 45mm?" Got one of those. Darn. I don't have the money anyway.

Well, shutterflower, if all else fails, you can wait until I die. I have left my 100mm lens to you in my will. The down side is that I'm in excellent health and can reasonably expect to live another 35 or more years.

Doesn't that depend on how desperate shutterflower is for your lens? :D

I emailed Kenmar about that lens too, but they didn't reply at all
Maybe I'll have to wait until you and shutterflower die and perhaps I can inherit the same lens? By that time I don't suppose I'll be able to get roll film any more...

I'm only 24, and if I get the 100mm in my lifetime, I'm going to have it buried with me.
