I've no connection to any of the parties involved and have no pecuniary motives for posting this.
The reason I've posted this (and the one about the Leica Noctilux) is because I bumped into a group of photo students and avid Rangefinder forum users the other day. They saw my Leica and all bemoaned the fact that you needed to be "seriously rich" to have a Leica. When I told them that you could still get good deals out there, they didn't believe me and started quoting Ebay prices at me ad nauseam.
I suggested they tried local auction houses, but this met with scoffs of, "you won't find anything good there".
