I have a new 35mm holder with ANR glass for my V700, and it is height adjustable. But I don't know where to set the sliders. they have 5 click stops.
It is made by Epson, but for a different scanner. But, I think all there V series are the same as far as the height....
Does anyone use this holder with ANR glass that is height adjustable? And at what click do you use?

After testing at each setting, the 4th click setting was the best at 300% in Ps.
The holder above is set on the 2nd click setting as a reference.

You did the right thing by testing for yourself. Since there often is variance between each scanner produced, what is right for one person's scanner will not be applicable to another person's scanner of the same model.

Set one end at zero, the opposite at 5. Scan and see which is best.
Step two, confirm by bracket, +1, 0 -1.
If you found 0 or 5 best, you might have to add some tape to make higher or figure a nondestructive way to lower like make lower feet.
