I thought you might be one of the few to own both the LTM and the Nikon mount version of this fine lens.
Would you know if the two versions share the same filter thread pitch? Maybe trying to swap the hoods could be an indication?
Any info on the mysterious thread pitch of the ltm version would be most welcome as well!

I dont have or use any filters on my Heliar 50f3.5's - but I remember somewhere that it takes 27 mm filters.

I have the first version of the LTM 3.5 Heliar - the filter is 27mm.

The diameter is 27mm but apparently, the thread pitch is non standard and the regular filters will mount half way, and not allow the hood to be mounted.
There seem to be some information that on the Nikon version, the pitch is 0.75.
I wonder if this is the same as the ltm version, and if it is, how to get such filters.
That's why I suggested to try to swap between the hoods of the two versions...
