This morning was the first real opportunity to test out the new lens. A little soft at F2 (I think, but it could be my focus), but very sharp thereafter. Very resistant to flare, and wonderful colours. Here is an example:
The first 5 images in my gallery are from today, numbers 2-5 are shot through glass, which limits the contrast somewhat. Hard not to feel enthusiastic...
By the way, anybody know how to fix the link to my gallery in my signature? - seems to have broken over the last month or so.

Nice DOF and color.
The wheels fell off my Gallery link in my sig also. I had to go into the USER CP and "edit signature". Then cut out the old link and make a new link with the buttons.
Did you get an R3M or an R2M? What are you going to do with the camera?
