HELP!!! Need help regarding Fuji GA645

Hi guys..

i'm just about to acquire my very own GA645 (tmrw, hopefully).

Just wondering, is there a counter to let u know how many rolls the camera has gone through?

I went through the whole manual, and couldn't find anything about that..

Hi Trevor, and congratulations on your new goodie in transit! There is indeed a "total shots indicator" that you should find explained on pp 32-33 of the manual. It appears on the LCD display after you press the esposure compensation button and turn the selecting dial from Off to ISO... while holding the button you'll see the number in units of 100. See also Fig 59.

When mine arrived the Total Shots Indicator showed 003 00 indicating "3" in hundreds; so, 300+ exposures so far or about 10 rolls of 220. Checking it now shows 010 00, for 1000+ shots.

Congratulations on your new camera. I'm sure that you will get some great results. You may see elswhere in this forum, comments on the auto focus of this model. It pays to check the readout showing the focus range which the camera has selected, as it sometimes is fooled, or tries to fool the user by selecting an inapropriate distance. You will get used to it very quickly..and avoid loosing that unique shot.

Among the reviews about GA645 in the photographyreview.com, there is one I still remember. It reads, "Looks like a toy! Feels like a toy! The pictures are... O BOY" I agree with this comment 100%. You'll like the pictures too. Congrats on your new purchase.

thanks guys, for the advise and comments.... i'm in the middle of my roll of provia at this point.... I'm ITCHIN to go down town to san francisco to grap some shots, BUT i've got mid-terms next week.. :bang:
