Help on Canon VIT top removal

Hello guys, I need your help on removing the accessary shoe out of Canon VIT top cover to clean the finder inside. This one also need some lubrication for winding mecha because it intermittently sticks at beginning of charging/winding up the shutter with the lever. I can wind it up with using the knob though it has the uneven "click" feel while winding.
Any hint? please.

The accessory shoe will not provide you access to the finder. Just to the cams that operate the parallax ball.

Service manuals are readily available for the VI-T.

That said, I get the feeling you might be better served paying a professional to do this.
