I don't know what's wrong with my operation. after i release the shutter, i tried to advance film, but the lever stuck suddenly halfway.
I am in CA95616, USA. I am hoping somebody here can help me fix it, i can pay 50$ for it. I am still a poor student, i can't afford expansive fix fees. thanks a bunch.

Harry Fleenor at Oceanside Camera Repair, Manhattan Beach, CA is one of the best in the business for Rollei, but the repair will likely be ~$100. Good luck with it.

Easy Fix?
Easy Fix?
I think the problem is that you misloaded the film. It sounds like the film is bound up. Also, make certain the lens is extended and locked in place. I hope I am correct re: the diagnosis.

uptight shutter, common problem with Rollei 35, sorry to say. Happens to my twice, with my R35 LED and R35S. Let it check from a repairman, and be *very* careful each time before firering and advancing the film you do have locked the lens ... if nothing is broken, 50 USD will be sufficient for a good repair

Yes, it's important to not move the advance lever unless the lens is fully extended.
