Finally, and following the advice of some of you, I have decided to do it myself. The f-ring is stuck, presumably because of fit on it (it didn't take a knock and when I turn the ring sounds like that) and I've decide to clean it.

So far so good. I've opened the barrel from the back... but now I am stuck :bang:

I can't remove the first ring, the focus one. As you can see in the picture it is already loosen but it seems that there is something that prevent it from being removed. I wonder whether it is the pin of the focus. Do you know if it is necessary to take it off as well? If so, how: unscrewing it manually?

Any help will be very welcomed!!!!

You need to get to the aperture ring from the front. Take the front lens segment off (you see the span ring), remove the name plate with a knife (glued), and remove the screws underneath the name plate.

Then you can remove the aperture ring. Be careful not to loose the ball bearing underneath the aperture ring.

Are you sure this is the way to do it with the CV 35? I can see the name plate in the 75 but is getting difficult to find a spot where to introduce a knife in the 35.

First you remove the front half of the optics, by opening the (red) outer span ring. Then you lift off the front plate (blue). See attached picture. Hope this helps.

PS: I "stole" the photo from ebay, #301326692795, since I don't have my lens with me now. Hope the seller doesn't mind. Good price on that item, BTW.

It worked. Thanks!

It seems that the ball bearing was the problem. Now the ring is a little bit smoother but still, after putting the front plate gets stiffer again. I guess I will have to look for a good grease. Any suggestions?
