Help with Metabones Leica M to NEX Adapter

I see the Metabones Leica M - Sony NEX adapter mentioned a lot around the various forums and I was wondering if anyone here was using it? I have one, and while I can mount a Zeiss 50mm Planar and a Leica 90mm Tele-Elmarit, my 35mm 'cron ASPH is a no-go. The lens won't rotate far enough onto the Metabones adapter to lock into place. Have others experienced similar incompatibility issues with certain lenses?

I have a RainbowImaging adapter. Easy to get on the lens, hard but successful getting on the NEX body, easy to get off the NEX body, impossible to get off the lens. Help!But when it is full on, boy it works nice.
 
i bought a RainbowImaging NEX adapter locally, while waiting for my CV adapter to be delivered. While it fit on my camera and works OK, it is not particularly well-constructed, and I wonder how long the scews holding it together will last. Whaddya expect for $20?
