Would anyone have either the rectangular slip on hood or the Hexanon 24mm f2.8 or 28mm f3.5 lenses (the hood was for). What I would like to know is the diameter of the lens where the hood slips on. I am trying to find a slip on hood for an entirely different purpose and this hood appears that it might be very close to my needs but I would like to know the dimensions before I try an buy one.

The hood is precisely 57mm ID.

Thanks for that. I actually need 57.3mm so I should be able to make it work
