The Hexar finally died. It was slow. Slow to turn on. Slow to wake up. It started slowly, and quickly got slower.
I tried everything. Nothing worked. When it was on, it was fine, but it was becoming more infrequent.
Local service people slid her back shaking their heads...The last few days; nothing.
New batteries, old batteries, jiggling batteries, juggling batteries, incantations, kicking the fridge - actions that had woken her in the past - yielded nothing.
I lost big at poker last night. One day free a week, ruined by rain and remorse. I tried everything again. And again.
I sat through two downloaded episodes of Masterchef Aus. and stared her down. Nothing. I showed her the screw drivers I use to tighten my glasses. Nothing.
I found this on the way back from the fridge -

Fingers crossed.

It's alright. I'm in Japan.
But yeah, for anyone else, I'm sure he'd be the go-to guy.

You write well! They say Greg Weber in the US is the go-to guy for this camera.
