I couldn't find the thread to resurrect it, but I found the Forrest Mims book where he gives a schematic for building a light meter. It isn't too complicated, although I seem to remember the meter itself was not an off the shelf item. All other items would be though.
I remember one member mentioned knowing Forrest Mims, and offering to query him about posting the schematic. I think the best thing would be for whoever that was, if he can contact F. Mims, and convince J. Torralba that the proper permission has been given, then if Jorge will PM me, I will happliy post the schematic. Or, if Mr. Mims has a problem with a public posting, but will authorize PM's with the info to interested RFF'ers, Jorge can let me know that too. I think we need to be sure Mr. Mims releases the copyright at least for publication here, to protect Jorge and the rest of us.
