Hood for Nokton 50/1.5

Good news, I got one for Christmas; used from a reputable source.

Bad news, it didn't come with the standard hood :bang:

The options I am aware of are either a replacement round shade or the LH-3 shade. Any other options?

You could probably use any rubber 52mm shade that goes for $5 but it would probably block some of your VF

Aftermarket 52mm screw-on hoods are available on eBay for as little as $5-10 + shipping. Many are straight sided so they won't intrude into the viewfinder enough to affect viewing..

sorry, should have responded I got busy with a couple of family events

it DID come with a hood; my parents bought the lens for me, and as typical with Christmas presents (particularly with my folks), they said it aside and found it a week later
