For now I am making do with an Epson 4870 and SilverFast AI. I am following some online advice that says any resolution over 2400 (or even less) is wasted. So the end product is probably not as good as I can get from 6x7 on my Nikon.
I don't know if a Betterscanning holder would help - or even an upgrade to SF AI Studio. Please share some of your workflow.

For web and computer usage...
400dpi for 4x5
800dpi for 120
1600dpi for 35mm
I keep my negatives safe and wont be printing anything from a scan anytime soon. I see the computer as a digital proof/contact sheet.

Thanks - for me I am scanning to print on an Epson 7600. I have never even seen an F-3200 - looks interesting!
