I have a 3+ minute video file that a friend made about my photo exhibit in Havana. I only have the Windows Media Audio/Video or .WMV file (38,177 KB) What format do I convert it to so someone can click on my website and view it? And, how do I convert it to whatever format that is. This is something I know nothing about so I would prefer the easiest way.

The movie is on YouTube here. But I would prefer not to link to YouTube as that seems a bit amateurish (even though I certainly am)

Since you're already on youtube, the easiest way to do this is to embed the Youtube video into your website.

Click on the "SHARE" button below your Youtube video, and click on EMBED. Then just cut and paste the html to your site.

The video will play without having to leave your website.

I agree with the above. Let YouTube soak up the bandwidth. You'll get neat stats and allow it to be found by a broader audience.

Vimeo is used by more pros but I don't think anyone really cares these days, some of the best assignments are going to amateurs found on Flickr.
