How does the price of this Cl sound

One of my biggest regrets is getting rid of my CL a few years back, I have recently been offered a Cl, with none functioning meter, but with a new voightlander clip on meter, plus an adapter ring and a 50mm jupiter 8 for £250, does this sound like an ok price, the cl body and meter are in nice condition as ist the russian 50mm

I think there was a thread last week bemoaning the lack of service for the CL. Quite a few posts on the thread about no service, even from Leica.

Pretty sure it was the CL, so you may want to search on the leica CL, or similar.

Meter sells new on Ebay for $225 (if the model II)

I sold a non working meter CL for $270

Lens about $50

Adapter ring ??

Your price converted to US funds is about $401

Price sounds fair provided no problems with camera, meter or lens

Ebay might be cheaper for the camera, but you won't be able to check it in person to see if there are any problems + the cost of s/h will add to that. More if there is problem that wasn't noticed.

I think it was the CM, not the CL that couldn't be serviced...

i know the chap that is selling the camera, I think I could get him down to, £200, which I feel for a voigtlander clip on meter, 50mm jupiter 8, m to screwthread adapter ring, (voigtlander) and a CL body seems ok. Thanks for all your help by the way it is appreciated
