I am just curious as to how many rolls of film, everyone shot in the last month. It seems there has been a shift to the equipment being more important than the photos.
My last month totals.
Fuji Reala 100 - 6 rolls, two in MF and 4 in SLR
Fuji Superia 400 - 3 rolls, 2 in RF
Fuji Neopan 400 - 3 rolls, all in RF
Fuji S160 8 - rolls.
of course the S 160 was MF shot in the studio

A couple of rolls of 120 B&W (TMY 400) from the Bronica ETRS. A 36 roll of HP5 in the M and a roll of Velvia 50 from the M, but that might be just outside the month.

Oh! and a shed full of pixels for a portrait shoot on a D70 electric thing with lights and everything. That doesn't count right? 😀

So far this November month I used up 4 rolls of HP5+ (36 exposures), 8 rolls of Konica VX400 (24s), 3 rolls of VX200 (24s), 3 rolls of Reala (36), 1 roll of Kodak's finest (Gold 200 asa), 3 rolls of Centura 100 asa and 5 rolls of Cenuria 200 asa (24 esposures). My fridge needs to be restocked. I'm down to 6 rolls. 😎

All the Konica film used were 24's.

Everything has been developed except for 2 rolls; which I'll have done this week.

4 rolls Neopan 400, 2 rolls NPZ, 3 rolls Velvia and Astia.

Take a look at Galleries and other links to see what people are doing. I doubt there's anybody here who doesn't shoot a couple of rolls every couple of weeks.

What difference does quantity make, anyway? I teethed on sheet film, so I tend to be stingy with film. Somebody else feels a need to burn film like crazy, gets better results than me. Who cares?

3 rolls of Reala, mainly of preserved steam trains visiting my sister, 5 rolls of Velvia during a week on the Narrowboat. 1 of each around the house and about 4 testing a couple of repairs etc.

I honestly don't know for sure. Are you talking about for personal use?

I've run several through a couple of Nikon F3HP's, and Bronica Etrs.

Some through Ansco Speedex special "R"

Some through a Yashicamat

Some, through a Yashica GT.

Some through a couple of Canon P's

Some through Contax IIa and IIIa.

Slide, B&W and print film. Now to develop some of them.

Let me think this through...

On Sept 15 my Xpan counter said 14.

On October 12 the counter said 59. This means there were 450 exposures in 27 days. This would be about 30 rolls of 24 exposure film.

On November 14 the counter said 86. This means there were 270 exposures in 33 days. This would be about 19 rolls of 24 exposure film.

Not too bad.

It seems there has been a shift to the equipment being more important than the photos.

I partly agree on that, but the number of rolls I shoot ( i'm still shooting the same FP4 since last mont) don't influence the love that I have for photography.
I think my record in films per mont is 2 (vacations), and maibe got so many good photos as the one that shoots 5,6 rolls. (I'm not saying I'm a good photographer, just using me as a example).

Since the beginning of November, I have shot 4 rolls of APX100 and 2 rolls of NPS160. I am hoping to get my Neopan 1600 in the mail from Japan this month, which will result in a lot of playing around in the dark...

I've shot 2 1/2 rolls of Ilford 3200 and a roll of TMax 400. Wednesday I'm gonna shoot at least one roll of either 400 or 100, if she shows up. I also have half a roll of cheap 200 color as a test roll in a Canon SureShot I got for $.66. If the roll turns out, that will be my scooter camera. It fits nicely in the glove box.

edit: I thought it was in the last week. I don't know the exact number for the month, but I think I average 2 to 3 rolls a week. And out of that, 2 or 3 keepers.

8 rolls of Neopan 400, 1 roll Provia 100 and about 200 shots with the 10D at the company rodeo (only about 5 of which I'm happy with - always learning!).

30-50 odd rolls: astia, velvia, kodak elite chrome, expired agfa chrome 50, and expired agfa c41, tri-x, arista, apx400, delta 3200, kodak hie, classic pan and a few others ....probably backlogged about 20 rolls.....add digital to that and i have barely had time to sleep and eat...now if i could just get a higher percentage of keepers out of that i would be set...

For myself, I average about 2 rolls per month. I'm not very prolific during the day to day routine. During the summer when I'm on vacation, it is much more.

Vow, I am a light-weight compared to the rest of you... I only shot 2 1/2 rolls in October. I'd shoot more if I had more film bodies... 🙄

1 roll of B&W 120 film, 5 rolls of Elitechrome 35mm, 1 Fuji reala, 858 digital pics...
In the last YEAR...
