Some old flashlights for bulbs used an uncommon battery, called Pertrix 72. It was a block cell with 22,5 Volt and one contact on each side of the battery. Since the late 1990th this battery is not in production. But I found a way to refill it.

I never thought it is so easy.

Just take an old Pertrix 72, pull off the tin that surrounds the cell with a screwdriver. Underneath that you will find a plastic case. In this plastic-case are 15 normal knob cells 😱.

Just take them out, put in 15 knob cells with the same height – and your battery is ready again. Only make sure, all batteries are placed with + and – in the right way!

I don't think, that there are much members who are still that crazy to use flashlights with bulbs, but those how do might have now a good solution.

Best wishes,

Thorsten
