Not sure this is a responsive answer, but Howard French has certainly used RF cameras, his first camera having been a Retina folder. Since his days as Shanghai Bureau Chief for the NYT, he's become increasingly known for photojournalism, and is officially agnostic on subject of cameras, using whatever suits his needs. Has been known to use a Rollei TLR. He's now a journalism professor at Columbia and is noted for documentary photography projects in China. Last I looked, ages ago, he had photos on flickr.
