HU: Bug-eyed Super Angulon?

There's a bug-eyed 21mm Super Angulon (#7613036284) on Egay right now....never seen one before, must be super rare. The eyes look identical to the ones on the 35mm F2.8 Summaron.....intriguing to think you can use a 21mm on an M3 without an external viewfinder.
Wonder if they ever made a bugeyed 28mm Hektor/Summaron/Elmarit for the M3?

Reinhold Meuller did a couple of these adaptations. A lot of work--I contacted him hoping to have "eyes" adapted to a Canon 85 f/1.5 lens (like a 135 Elmarit). He had no interest in doing any more. 🙁. BTW, Tom Abrahamsson has one of the modified Super Angulons.

I would be very interested to know if this is an OEM Leica product or a modified lens...Who's got the Laney book?

Serial # indicates 1959 year of manufacture, but it's not in my 1959 catalogue. Price for the lens (without the bugeyes) was $240, while a spanking new M3 was $270.
