Today only... part of Dell's "9 Days Of Deals" that they throw out every now and then:
http://www1.ca.dell.com/content/topics/segtopic.aspx/7_days_savings?c=ca&cs=CABSDT1&l=en&s=bsd
I'm not sure if the U.S. folk are privy to this or not but the 24" monitor is a great buy at $899 CDN - no shipping charge either!!!
It's good until January 20 (i.e. midnight tonight).
The 30" is brand spanking new but, really, $1599 as good a deal as it may be, aren't we really talking about a TV set at that point?
Cheers
Dave

except that no tv set has a resolution comparable to the LCD display.. but I agree it's a bit of overkill.. my tv is 'only' a 27" monitor and I can see that fine from 10 feet away.. I don't think I need a bigger computer to see from 2 feet away

Ya.. I've got a 20" Dell widescreen now and I can tell ya.. I prefer to watch DVD's on this thing over the 27" Sony Wega in the living room
Now if only I can get a beer fridge in here.. and a woman to bring me beer.. heheheheh

Heh.. sorry Joe.
I was going to post it in the classifieds as a HU but then I realized it's more a digital darkroom thing.. and I neglected to drop an "HU" into the subject line.
My bad..
