This seller sells used "like new" Nikon Coolpix A cameras for €369 + shipping + adjusting for VAT on the French ebay. For me it ran to €388. Street price in Belgium in a brick and mortar store is €899 :(

I ordered one on Friday and it arrived this morning here in Belgium with standard mail service.

The "like new" is a bit confusing. It looks and smells like a brand new one. But perhaps a refurbished lot? It included the pan European warranty card.

And what a beauty it is. I think I have finally found the perfect "have with me all the time camera". I bet Nikon would have sold loads of them at this price :D

As I post this the seller has 5 left (and sold 5).

You mean 300 or even 900 Eur for a digital point and shoot? I thought Iphone has supplanted all that stuff.

That's a very good price even if it is used. I would have been very tempted but have an RX100 which works very well as a go anywhere camera for me.

Interesting. I'm not familiar with this model, so I looked it up on Amazon. They sell it for $1097 but also list it at $655 as an "import." That's a heck of a discount for gray market.

Obviously the RX100 is far more versatile and smaller too, but not by much.

Cheers,

I am a long term user of Nikon products, but at least here in Europe they have made a perfect trio of getting prices wrong: Nikon V1, Coolpix A and Df, although the latter is probably relatively the best selling compared to number of cameras made.
