I could be wrong here, but this just doesn't look right.

It's an M8, with the seller offering it for $1,300. But you have to contact him through e-mail to set up the deal. A big-time seller, with more than 9,000 transactions. I went in an looked at the several dozen items he listed today - every one of them offered for $1,300, if you contact him outside of ebay to do the deal.

At a guess, I'm thinking someone got into this guy's account over the weekend.
But then again, maybe this is just an eccentric seller with tons of electronics, and who believes everything is worth $1,300.

If you go to his store most of the stuff he sells is (counterfeit??) money. And a French horn... And 9000 transactions and a 100% feedback? If it sounds too good to be true....

Listings like this are normally taken down after a few hours.
I used ebay and send the seller a message, that should take care of it. I also reported the listing violation, let's see how long it takes.

Some time ago I reported one of these. In fact, the seller had a number of sales going at the same time, and his layout was very different. He simply didn't know his account had been hijacked. I contacted him first (through another of his auctions) and then after he replied, I reported the auction to eBay.

The layout in this one reminds me of that other fraudulent sale. No doubt, amigos, this is a hijacked account.

Certainly seems like a hijacked account. Unless the hijacker has changed the original account contact email address placing a bid via ebay will alert the original account owner. Hence the threat of cancelled bids if you do this.

Bob.

Yeah it has to be a hijacked account !!! Sadly, a few people did fall for that, I hope that the hijacker will not get the opportunity to steal someone else hard earned money...
