I've seen one as low as $5800, but used/demos seem to average out at about $6300...

someone correct me if I'm wrong...

Steve Huffs site had one for $4994 once... a demo. However, generally above $6000 is the norm. Some stores sell them used for only a few hundred less than new. Makes no sense to me.

4 whole posts before thread went to film-is-better-than-digital hell. Not bad.

Film?
But what that film exactly is?
I use it very often in the kitchen, as a clear plastic to avoid oxydation of the food.
But I noticed that on RFF a lot of people speak about "film" in photographic subjects.
I was thinking it's about old cinema technology, not about photography.

film or digital? who cares? (split the difference and keep using 'em both if you can.)

make images and share them.

congrats on the M9. Nice first shots. looking forward to seeing more.

Thank you all. I enjoy the M9 really. It is much better then the M8 and with my iMac 27'' ... wowh!!!

Excellent pictures!
Your frames are modern and conservative at the same time (I don't know if you understand me, my English is poor).

Your blog and site are very interesting - I mean pictures, German like Chinese for me (Polish is not difficult, really ;)).
I think you know what you can with digital M9 and ... enough ...
