Hey all,
Essentially all you have to do on your mac is install a virtual machine, install windows, and download the below application. When you open it, create/select a folder in the tether application and share it with mac OSX if needed (I used parallels so it was automatically shared) and set your camera to TETHER AUTO. Connect your camera and shoot, and the photos will be automatically dumped into that folder. In LR, set up auto import from that folder and turn it on. Voila! Tethering for free!
For windows users, just install the application, point it towards a folder, and set up auto import in lightroom for that folder. Easy!
