Some is color, so that is easy, just need to drop it in the mail. 120 and 35mm. I had good notes as to what is on each roll, but now I have to figure out how I am going to keep that all straight. Maybe I will try to talk my son and beautiful other of significance into helping me get through the black and white this weekend. Then I have to scan it all. I have gotten myself into these problems before, but never this bad.

So, how does your backlog look?

I too have a few rolls to be developed. I need to send out some 120. Thinking of mailing it off. Do you have a suggestion of where would be a good place to get it done? I also have several cameras with film in them that I need to finish.
Cheers,
Tom

I had a backlog of a dozen rolls that developed at the start of the new year, took three marathon sessions because a mix of color and various b&w.

My new years resolution - process as its shot , try to develop a consistent workflow . We'll see how long it lasts ;-(

Once you get through the backlog ( how many rolls?), try to

When it gets that bad for me...20+ rolls of mixed 120 and 35 rolls of 35mm, I just ship it off to North Coast. I bite the bullet. I get the low res scans, cause I have my Nikon if I need to go larger.

I have been happy with the service and results from Precision Camera for my color processing and scanning. I think tonight that will be the first thing I do, get all the color stuff packaged up and ready for the mail.

My backlog?

Probably 5 years worth of un-used film sitting in my freezer (among them, about 45 rolls of Neopan 1600), so I need to get my ass out of the couch and into the streets (but it's hard, as it's around -15 degrees here constantly now).

Last year I counted a 46 roll 35mm and 10 roll 120 backlog, all B&W. Had to go crazy and with a 4 roll Nikkor tank for 35mm and a ancient Yankee tank for 120 it took me a week to clear the backlog. Have stayed caught up since then, hope I learned my lesson.

I know he shot an amazing amount of film but does anyone remember how much film was left unprocessed when Garry Winogrand died? Some thousands of rolls I hear.

Since my Costco lost their film developing service (machine needed maintenance and the volume don't justify it), I had to find another way to process my color rolls. I'll probably batch them and send to Precision camera.
