I have some film cannisters with a mystery film of ISO 400. I knew that they were either TMax2, or Tri-X. I assumed TMax and started my 9 minutes at 75 degrees, TMax Developer (1+7) in the Jobo. My five year old decided to put red nail polish on her toenails. I have her aunt to thank. Instead, she put the nail polish on the carpet. Twenty minutes later I poured water in to use as a stop bath. I was going to just trash it right there, but to my surprise I ended up with Tri-X VueScan histogram covering close to ten stops. The scans looks great. Go figure.

Which one? The frenzy to clean up the nail polish or the scans from the negatives?

To make it worse, my Nikon 9000ED is banding, so scanning on my Epson Pro V-750. Still scanning.... This was the first one from my youngest daughter's fifth birthday party.
