Heres the thing, i live in Berlin and they have several labs that are allegedly good but the quality differs so strongly every time that i dont know where to go anymore.

I am at the point where i want to sell my M6 because i dont see what the point is of keeping it if i cant have someone develop film properly.

What should i do?

Germany is a film paradise in Europe in terms of prices, supply, choice... So there must be some good labs, I refuse to believe there are none. :)

There are lots of excellent labs in Berlin! Berlin is one of the best places in the world for film photographers. It is film shooters paradise:

Just to list some of them:
1. Jet-Foto:

2. Pixelgrain:
http://pixelgrain.com/

3. Viertel vor Acht:
http://vv8.de/

4. Fotoimpex:
www.fotoimpex.de (im Ladengeschäft abgeben)

5. Fehling:

6. Jochen Rohner:
http://www.jochen-rohner.de/

7. U. Hagel:
http://www.ulrich-hagel-labor.de/

8. Marc Stache:
https://www.fineprintservice.de/

9. Gerstenberg:
http://www.diaentwicklung.de/

10. GoLab:
http://golab.de/

11. Albert:
http://www.ba-ap.com/

12. C-Print:
https://www.c-print.de/

13. INA:

14. Hess:
http://www.foto-hess.de/bildbestellungen/

15. The 10 Fixfoto shops:
https://www.fixfoto-digital.de/leistungen/filmentwicklung

And if even these 15 excellent labs in Berlin are not enough options for you: You can order film processing and prints at each of the hundreds of drugstore chain shops of 'Rossmann' and 'dm'.

And of course you can use mail order in Germany and use lots of other excellent labs in Germany like Photo Studio 13, Foto Weckbrodt, Fotolaborservice Görner, Jan Kopp etc.

Cheers, Jan

Hello Jan,

ive tried some of these labs and without wanting to publicly **** on them, i can tell you that the results i have sometimes received sometimes wasnt much better than your random dm or rossman drug store quality which made me wonder what the point was of paying significantly more. Still, some of these labs are new to me so i will check them out. Danke!

I've seen some good work from MeinFilmLab.
https://www.meinfilmlab.de/en/

Several friends of mine have used them and were very dissappointed. For different reasons. Some because their negatives were completely destroyed (landfill) instead of sending back. That horrible behaviour is the standard option at this lab.
When they complained, the lab owner reacted extremely unfriendly. Others have had scratches on their films (sending the films back costs more, it is not standard but extra service).
This lab is also known for telling lies about their competitors on social media channels. They have also told their customers several times to boycott all film manufacturers out there except Kodak and Ilford. They want that all other film manufacturers go bankrupt and Kodak and Ilford get the monopol on film production (with the result of no competition anymore and sky rocketing film prices).

Cheers, Jan
