I now have a blog

Not that it's aimed at making photo bucks, but I have just entered the world of blogging! As if my website wasn't enough to bore you now there are even more photos on my blog. And there's words as well.

Over the last year I have been spending more time shooting projects rather than single images and these are more suited to a blog format. So please have a look and tell me what you think.

I had a blog. It even got popular, with a couple thousand hits a day, and plenty of trackbacks and comments. But then my blog-service-provider went out of the biz, and now I'm back to being just me.

One day I shall blog again, but it's fun not having the pressure to post an ever-more-relevant topic ... every day!

When I get up the energy, I will indeed look in on your blog (I just made an icon on my desktop for it.) It's cool being one of the creators of the online landscape though, isn't it?

ps, I offered pics for sale on my blog, but never made a dime from it. Ever.

I'm not really anticipating making any money from my blog Chris. And I definitely won't be posting every day!

I have several projects on the go at the moment and one that will appear on my blog in the not too distant future is my veterinary project - I have been spending time with the vets at a local practice photographing farm visits, consultations and surgery. I've enjoyed it immensely and only have a few more days left to complete the project. This will feature on my blog rather than my website because it is easier to display a narrative on a blog.

I like the "Reading images set you did. I've had a blog for about a year and my enthusiasm waxes and wanes. It does give me a feel if I'm doing stuff I'm happy with as if I can't be bothered to post it then it's real bad. Had someone swear at me this week, which is not something I thought my photographs would inspire. You jump in the cyber river and you're bound to bump into a few turds I suppose.

Going to London for Easter so got to be a blog in that.😀

Got a blog to. Somewhere down the basement of the internet it lies, just a few people tripped over it. But. you know, it's fun to be occupied with. And I'm not yet that serious in attracting traffic. 😀😀😀

I use my blog as a "What's New" page for my main portfolio website. It has led to a lot of sales. Blog posts get picked up by google MUCH faster than regular webpages.
