That is really nice, best of luck to you. Watching your video I was reminded of a similar project done in Devon, England by James Ravilious. You might like to see a video about him and his work.

I received a Grant for Documentary photography!
Thank you! I will have to check out that film.
I started with a farm this past Sunday. They are transitioning to the next generation now. I brought my Leica M240 and used my 35mm Biogon pretty much exclusively for the first couple of photos.

I have them posted on Instagram right now, still have to do a blog post for my website. I would post directly here, but Tapatalk is not working properly right now.

Unfortunately I can't see the instagram images, but I'm excited for you. It's a big deal to get funding for a project or idea that you had/have.

Congratulations. Best of luck with this project. We all are looking forward to seeing the finished products virtually and please let us know when and where the physical exhibit will be. It sounds like it will be worth a visit.

Thank you! I hope so. It will be 12 images or so, with written short essays on each farm. I will upload to a gallery page on my website so I can share images here directly as well. Just been a busy couple of weeks personally, so the website work has not happened yet.

Updating an old thread. The project was a smashing success. Very well received by the farms involved and by the public. I had some fairly severe health issues during it, but was able to produce pretty much what I had wanted. The blog posts and the photos are on my website, www.awasos.com.
