Here is a young lady who I know little of, except that she lives in Greensboro N.C. and she shoots lots of color. Her name is Lisa Scheer and her work reminds me somewhat of Jon's work but with their own unique style and different climate of course.

Thank you. I enjoyed those photos and thought of jan normandale and Lise Sarfati.
She says she's going to try some mono. I'd like to see it, although her style suits color very well.

Scheer's photos are great. A lot of empty feeling. The girl and soldier was good too. THese are the only photos I have seen this week. Except this one:

This guy has some other interesting images as well.

I like Scheer's photos, too. I liked this one:

I hope I covered rule 6. Please if I haven't tell me. I don't want to do it wrong.

I recently bought a book (an anthology) of Mario Giacomelli's work, I like it so much to look for his photos on the net so here his website: http://mariogiacomelli.it.

Very nice indeed. His work resonates with Beniliam's photos. I like the color and the real up close look of many of the photos.

Remarkable photos, and all so 'modern looking' even though some are over fifty years old.

From the inside of a London tube train looking out at a large advertising poster on the tunnel wall.
This kind of photo cannot be planned, and it takes a god eye to see it and photograph it during the few seconds that the train is stationary.

Which Giacomelli book would you recommend?
Please don't suggest http://www.amazon.co.uk/Paesaggi-La...=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1197882275&sr=8-8 as it's about €300. 'Used Very Good'. Ouch.
I've just splashed out on new top of the range eyeglasses so I'd like a book slightly less expensive than that one!

Mario and Peter's photos are quite good indeed. I have looked at Trent Parke's work before, but was reminded of him again last night. The whole Magnum site has some good podcasts, and of course photos.
