Thanks to many of your posts and many readings of Sean's reviews I recently plumped for the R-D1.
It arrived today (in its excellent packaging) along with a Nokton 50/1.5 and a 12mm/5.6 to go with a 35 summaron and 50 cannon I had already picked up.
I didn't have much time to play with it today and this is my first real experience with an RF camera but I think this is going to provide the experience that I have been hoping for for so long.
Many thanks one and all...

Enjoy! It's a great camera. I carry mine with me everywhere.

Shoot first, think later
Congratulations. I am in the same boat and very happy as well. Would love to see some shots taken with the R-D1 and the 50/1.5 Nokton.

Almost all of the shots in my Sadies gallery were taken with the Nokton.

There is labelling under each shot. On the few where it doesn't say Nokton, I can't remember; I may have taken a few with the CV 35 PII that night.
