I picked up this lens today, an 80-200 3.8 to EE Quantaray lens today thinking it was a K mount. It's pretty close but upon comparison with my K mount lenses it's different, has 3 mount things, with 2 about the same size, and the 3rd longer near the red dot, with a notch in the larger flange, but not in the center.
A fixed protruding lever thing about 40 deg CCW of the red dot, and a thinner aperture ring, that rests in stopped down position about 45 deg CCW of red dot, and rotates CW about 30 deg to open aperture up.

rangefinder user and fancier
can it be a Konica mount.

Real Men Shoot Film.
Konica maybe? Its not Nikon, Canon, Olympus, Pentax, Yashica, or Minolta. Konica is the only other one I can think of

Thanks, I have a friend with a K/M A700 (?), would this fit on there? Hopefully I could sell it to him for what I paid. I didn't think to try it first on my Pentax as the mount cap said "K" I'm pretty sure the seller thought it was K-pentax, or maybe thought I was looking for a Konica mount lens, his table had mostly Olympus OMs and misc. accessories.
I'll test it on a K/M body later this week. Thanks.

Nope. The Konica/Minolta cameras have a Minolta mount.
Cheers!

I don't know anything about Konica SLRs. I think I'd be best off selling this off and trying to recover what I paid. Thanks.

I've bookmarked that page. I'm pretty sure it is the Konica SLR mount, as the off-centered notch in the big lug matches up very close.
The Olympus mount, from what I can see doesn't have a 3rd lug larger than 2 others with a notch in the big one just off center.
I can't quite tell if there is an adaptall or T4/TX mount underneath, I'd probably have to take 3 screws off of this mount to see what's underneath.
Thanks David

Very tempting to get one of these kits, just to make use of my silly lens buy today:

you can still try to get a konica Autoreflex, they're good cameras and cost about 20-40€...

You're confused. That is a fixed mount lens. There is no adaptall or t-mount on this lens.
Removing screws won't change anything. There is no mount "underneath".
