Leica M39 screw mount bodies/lenses

gray iiic k

the camera will probably sell at that price .
the k on the curtain in white is not present - so the curtains were replaced .
the shutter is not working -- so a service needed .

a similiar one sold best offer on ebay last week for $1158 , it had less vulcanite however the shutter was working .

these cameras are still quite valuable - in the $1000- $2500 range depending on condition .

Well, this camera is a bit OVERPRICED, for the condition it's in, cameras that are Ex+ or better with clean firm vulcanite are selling for $1,500/$1,700, at $1,299 this is not a deal.

Beat up 1943 camera, it`s a perfect shooter/user, but NOT at that price, it's not cheap, it needs about $600+ restoration/shop work (which I could have the camera restored back to the original condition with original shells, I'm having custom coded RLM Grey paint made for the shells, price would be about $500 to $600).

A couple of "underground" deals have already been thrown at this camera, that I know about, I'm NOT interested, or else I would have worked out something already (personaly I think the later Grey 1945 issue cameras make better users) ~ I'm sure it will trade/sell away from the ebay, UNDER $1,000!

Not a deal here folks, find a clean original one for $500 to $700 now that's a deal! ~ and they are STILL out there, private sales, not ebay or camera shops!

It sold in the last hour.........wonder if a dealer or a real photographer got it???

Would be nice to see this one, come back to it's former glory maybe with a 43' CZJ Sonnar T f1.5/50 on it, or a nice Leitz Xenon f1.5/50 😀 *ohh from my records it was issued to Berlin ~ 31.8.43 on shipment 9959.* civilian issue, camera originally had a white shutter "K" stamp.

Enjoy!
