A nice, simple poll that shouldn't cause too many problems!

Black.
Same answer for every RF...for me.
I feel more conspicuous with shiny stuff in my hand.

Esthetically, definitely silver (what I voted); for a stealthier reportage would be better black (unless you're in the snow!)

Once you go black, you never go back.

A silver camera is a thing of beauty and is defined by it's lines and asthetics ... the Leica IIIF RDST comes to mind. A black camera of any type is ... well, it's just another black camera!

Do you take photos WITH your camera or OF your camera?

Maybe we should have matching Zeiss Ikon kits, one black and one silver, to match with the outfits we are wearing when out photographing.

I went with silver.....
Actually glad I did, I get more comments on "thats an old camera.." when in reality its not at all. Most people i've encountered disregard me.
Though I will admit I do wish mine was black sometimes.
In any case, the black paint is definately not as sturdy as the paint is on the silver version... much easier to see the magnesium alloy beneath when you scratch the black camera.

Sarcasm alert!!
Sarcasm alert!!
And would we need matching man-bags to carry them in? And, would I need silver shoes to match the silver one? I already have plenty of pairs of black shoes...

why not add a "both" option?
Seems obvious to me but may be worth pointing out: the so-called "silver" version has BOTH, black and silver
Didn't Keith put snakeskin on his? That would make yet another missing option.
Maybe the poll should be revamped: do you like the color you have or do you lust after what you don't have?
Or, which looks better after years of use? New I preferred black, but the dealer told me that the silver apparently wears better.
